Categories: Terms

A grouping of inventory items according to item price times volume. Criteria for classes may vary yet tend to be similar to this example – Class A items represent 20% of items accounting for 70% of value (high value); Class B items represent 30% of items accounting for 25% of value (moderate value); Class C items represent 50% of items accounting for 5% of value (marginal value).
