Ensuring Effective Remote Training with Chris Christenson

We’re excited to have Chris Christenson, the director of education at Noria. He’s been there for seven years and has been in the adult learning and education field for about 16 years. That involved building curriculum courses and programs. He also did training in classrooms for adult learners. Chris became a performance coach which helped him focus on individual performance. That’s helped him at Noria with building more courses for adult learning. It’s also enabled them to upgrade their trainers’ skills.

Together we’ll take an in-depth look at:

  • What remote training is
  • When to use it
  • Its challenges over traditional face to face training

… and so much more!

Reliability Analysis … now what? Part 2

Reliability Analysis … now what? Part 2

Reliability Analysis … now what? Part 2

podcast episode with speaker Chris Jackson

Last month’s webinar was ‘Reliability Analysis … now what?’ And we showed how to slightly ‘tweak’ all those textbook reliability analyses into USEFUL ACTIVITIES. What good is a 90 % confidence bound on reliability? What does this mean for profit? Or fleet size? Or mission success? We solved this problem using a technique based on identifying the ‘likely’ ways we can explain our data. In fact – there is a whole bunch of statistics on creating the ‘likelihood’ on an explanation of what we see. And we use this ‘likelihood’ in most statistical applications – including those USEFUL ACTIVITIES we talked about above. [Read more…]
